📢 Call for Abstracts – Sleep Croatia 2025

📅 Abstract submission deadline: 1 September 2025

📍 Scientific Program: 9–11 October 2025, Zagreb

We invite healthcare professionals and researchers from diverse disciplines to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations for Sleep Croatia 2025, the largest international conference on sleep medicine in Croatia.

This is a unique opportunity to share your clinical experience, scientific research, and innovative approaches in an interdisciplinary setting that brings together:

     🟡 Pulmonologists
     🟡 ENT specialists
     🟡 Psychologists
     🟡 Sleep technologists
     🟡 Nurses & medical technicians
     🟡 Physiotherapists
     🟡 Other professionals working with sleep-related disorders

Suggested topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Artificial intelligence and polysomnographic data analysis
  • Insomnia, RBD, parasomnias, narcolepsy
  • Sleep-disordered breathing: clinical challenges and innovations
  • Sleep in psychiatric disorders: depression, psychosis, addiction
  • Sleep in women: menopause, hormonal transitions
  • Pharmacological treatment of obesity and its role in sleep quality
  • Multidisciplinary sleep interventions and integrated care models
  • Case reports and clinical pearls from everyday practice

📝 Abstracts should be submitted in English.
🎓 Both oral and poster formats will be available.

Accepted abstracts will be presented during the scientific program and included in the official conference materials.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be written in English
  • Maximum word count: 350 words
  • Use Arial 10 pt font for text; Arial 12 pt, all caps for the title
  • Structure for original research:
    • Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion
  • Case reports and review papers should be written as a continuous, unstructured paragraph
  • Include:
    • Author’s full name (no academic titles)
    • Institution, city, and country
    • Email of the corresponding author

🔁 Previously published abstracts will not be accepted.

E-POSTER should be made in PowerPoint form and delivered as  .ppt ili .pptx file:

Only one slide will be accepted and should contain entire poster content.

Please use fonts compatible with PC i Mac IOS (Arial, Courier New, Georgia, Helvetica, Times, Times New Roman)

Poster should be in landscape direction.

Poster text should be in English.

On the top of the poster there should be title, names of author and co-authors, mentors, name of institution, email address of the author.

The author should stand next to the poster during the „poster walk“ session.

Laptops and LCD projectors will be provided at the site. The presenters are kindly requested to deliver the electronic versions of their presentations at least 30 minutes prior to their session beginning to the technical staff of the congress.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the official congress website. The system will allow authors to access and review their submissions.

Double submissions will be rejected.
Each registered participant may present up to three oral presentations.

All co-authors must disclose any conflicts of interest. Abstracts lacking complete disclosures will be automatically rejected.
