  • From Ljubljana (Slovenia): The flight is short and lasts about 1 hour. After landing at ZAG, take a taxi or public transport.
  • From Belgrade (Serbia): The flight takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. It is a 25-30 minute drive from the airport.
  • From Budapest (Hungary): The flight takes about 1 hour. Again, a short 25-30 minute drive from the airport.
  • From Vienna (Austria): The flight takes about 1 hour. Take a taxi or public transport from the airport.

  • From Split: The bus journey takes approximately 6 to 7 hours.
  • From Rijeka: The bus journey takes approximately 3.5 hours.
  • From Osijek: The bus journey takes approximately 4 to 5 hours.
  • From Pula: The bus journey takes approximately 4 to 5 hours.

  • From Ljubljana (Slovenia): The bus journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours.

If you are arriving by car, the Zonar Hotel has its own parking lot, which is charged at €16/day. In the immediate vicinity and around the hotel, there is a public parking lot in the 2nd zone, for which daily parking tickets can be purchased.

If you are arriving by bus, arrival is at the Zagreb Bus Station, which is located HERE.

If you are arriving by plane, arrival is at the Franjo Tuđman International Airport, which is located HERE.

If you are arriving by bus, train or plane, we recommend using taxi services to get to the ZONAR Hotel. In Zagreb, you can use the services of ZGTaxi, Uber, Bolt, EkoTaxi and others. In case of using a taxi service for transportation from the airport to the hotel, we recommend using Bolt and Uber due to the safe price.

Although train travel can be attractive, we do not recommend this form of transportation within Croatia due to the unreliability of the system.

If you decide to use public transportation, in Zagreb it is provided by the Zagreb Electric Tram company. You can find a map of the ZET lines HERE. From the bus station (7 stops) or train station (5 stops), take tram number 2 in the direction of Črnomerec and get off at the "Jagićeva" stop, and then continue on foot for 900m (approximately 12 minutes) along THIS route. The price of a single ticket for 30 minutes is €0.53 if purchased outside the vehicle, or €0.80 if purchased in the vehicle from the driver.
